For years our founder, Judy Lipinski, and our associates planned and delivered new-hire training programs for Fortune 100 companies, helping computer science grads, and people with no tech background at all, bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and what it actually takes to work as a software engineer. Some started at zero. Some had years of unlearning to do. The goal was the same: become productive in a real coding environment.
Now that same training is here for you, and what you do with it is yours to choose. Go corporate: people we’ve trained have gone on to work at Amazon, Facebook, and Google. Tools come and go.
We teach the ideas underneath the software: how code, websites, and the tools you rely on actually work. Learn the fundamentals once and they carry across every tool, every job, and whatever technology comes next, AI included.
Skills that outlast any single tool. You learn the concepts under the buttons, so when a tool changes its price, its rules, or vanishes altogether, you’re not starting from zero. The same understanding applies whether you write the code by hand or choose to have AI write it for you. The tool is just where you practice the thinking.
Learn to talk in code, and get far more out of AI. AI is only as good as what you ask it for. When you can describe what you want in the language of code, you get the right result the first time, you can tell when an answer is wrong, and you can fix it yourself. That beats guessing, re-prompting, and hoping the AI understood you.
Enough to hold your own in a technical conversation. Even if you never write code full-time, knowing the basics means you can brief a developer clearly, follow what they tell you, and make decisions about your own tech without taking anyone’s word on faith. You stay in charge of your project instead of at the mercy of whoever you hired.
